Jason Bates is a numbers guy. Truth be told, people who double major in mathematics and economics like Jason, then pursue an MBA with a focus on finance like Jason, tend to get unfairly (or maybe fairly?) stereotyped. But spend some time with him, and you’ll soon see ? he’s extremely normal! Friendly, thoughtful and tenacious, too. Exactly who you want in your corner transacting complex real estate business on your behalf.

Prior to coming to work at Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate, Jason’s love of numbers led him to spend time at a mortgage bank specializing in multi-family housing finance. And as an investment broker, trading mortgage-backed securities. Today he expertly advises his buyers and sellers on all aspects of residential real estate, including the left-brain stuff few want to deal with. Jason’s clientele will tell you what a relief this is!

Further shattering the stereotype is his very human side, as evidenced by his stellar resume in community service. When Jason isn’t geeking out over spreadsheets and such, he spends his time tutoring homeless children through Interfaith Housing Coalition — he even received their 2014 Hope and Horizons Volunteer of the Year Award. Jason also assists The Rise School with fundraising, builds homes for Habitat for Humanity, delivers meals via Meals on Wheels, and helps out at the North Texas Food Bank.
